LASER TATTOO REMOVAL from €50
Tattoo ink particles are too large for the body’s immune system to remove naturally. Using the highest quality FDA approved Q-Switched Nd:NYAG (1064nm) and (532nm) Laser for the reduction of multi-coloured professional, amateur or traumatic tattoos and benign pigmentation.
Laser treatment can highly effectively and safely remove tattoos and is now considered the best method.
Laser is aimed at the ink particles under the skin which in turn breaks the ink down into smaller particles. The body then absorbs and flushes these particles out through the lymphatic system.
The sensation of the laser tattoo removal is often described as a small rubber band being snapped onto the skin. Most clients tolerate this sensation well and the discomfort goes away directly after the treatment. Patch test is not mandatory
Consultation and a patch test is required to determine the cost of your treatment and also the number of treatments needed. A course of treatments is required. Depending on the tattoo size and colours used, it could be around 5-15 treatments before the full results are seen, although it tends to be fewer treatments for amateur tattoos. With each treatment the tattoo pigment becomes successfully lighter and will eventually fade completely
How much does it cost?
The prices depend on the amount of time required. For 15 minutes the price is €50. For 30 minutes the price is €100 and for 1 hour the price is €200.
Treatment Duration
This varies due to the different sizes of tattoos. Treatments can take from between 15 minutes to 1hour. We can best determine this in your initial consultation.
Possible side effects
You may experience some swelling or redness after the treatment which will settle down within a couple of days. Some clients may experience blistering and soreness which does not need to be treated unless it is infected from lack of proper care but will pass within a few days if treated with anti-septic creams or antibiotics. It is important to take care of the treated area to disallow any form of infection and to apply SPF+30 if the skin will be exposed to the sun or if the tattoo is in areas that are not under clothing. Its important to bear in mind that occasionally if the skin was damaged when the tattoo was first applied, the scars will only become noticeable after the tattoo is removed. Also if the skin is dark, pigmentation can occur, where the skin may become slightly lighter where the tattoo is. This will return to normal between 3-6 months.
Is the treatment safe
There is no evidence to suggest that there is any increased risk in skin disorders or skin cancers. Any reddening and swelling of the skin will be localised and normally lasts for less than 24 hours.
